Vintage Bulova "Directors" men's mechanical wrist watch in very good Running condition.I have not opened the Stainless Steel case back, but the date code is "L3" and the serial number is 6601231, which points to a 1953 model with 15 jewels, and a 10BT Swiss Movement.
The word "Swiss" appears below the numeral 6 on its face
Bulova advertising of that era stated that this "Director" watch (catalog # D0538TE) has a 10K Yellow Rolled Gold Plated fancy snap on case, and a Domed "Lucite" Crystal.
A 2 piece Faux Leather (Plastic ?) band included.
My father purchased the watch when it was new, but it has been in a jewelry box for many years.
