Harry Bell Measures designed the stations above, he was a English architect, he also designed the Central London Railway's Wood Lane Power Station (now known as the Dimco Buildings), which is Grade II listed.

The designs for each platform kit are templates to build your own versions of Central London Railway's station platforms and they may not be an exact representation of each individual platform. These paper kits portray how the platforms may have looked when they first opened with wooden framed station name boards. Modern details including roundels and way out signs have also been added to represent a more modern layout.

The Bakerloo, Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria and Waterloo & City lines are deep-level tubes, with smaller trains that run in two circular tunnels (tubes) with a diameter about 11 feet 8 inches which is about 47mm in OO gauge. Station tunnels are generally 21 - 25 feet in diameter, about 84 – 100mm in OO gauge. Postal tubes (not included) made out of strong cardboard, used to send posters etc. via post, are ideal to stick the platform building papers to.
