This 10.5"x14" hardcover contains 12 vintage issues of Life Magazine dating from October through December, 1960. There's plenty here about President John F. Kennedy, articles on the Cold War, current events, movie stars (cover stories on Sophia Loren, Nancy Kwan, Doris Day, Carroll Baker, Jill Haworth & Sal Mineo), sports, entertainment, and many colorful advertisements. Most of the issues have over 100 pages.

The condition is generally good (except for the last two issues), but we're listing this as in acceptable condition because we simply don't have time to go through 1500+ pages and make sure they're all there. Plus, it's ex-library with a few library marks and attachments. A small fraction of the pages will have bent corners or small tears. There are library stamps to the top, bottom and side of the text block. The red buckram library binding has a few scuffs and spots, a sticker on the spine, sticker residue at front top. The last two issues have a moisture stain at the side that's visible on many pages, or has wrinkled a relatively small section of the page. The 12/19 cover (the Kennedys and son) is wrinkled and stained (see our photo). The last issue has an article about Hollywood beauties and someone cut half of two pages away. The covers have address labels at the bottom, and the 10/3 cover has a few small pencil marks.
