The Bandana, also known as a doo rag (which is actually a fitted bandana), skull cap, skull wrap, du rag, do rag or head wrap has been around forever. Cowboys used them as handkerchiefs or as masks. If your parents were hippies in the 1960's and tied a bandanna around their head, put on their bell bottoms they were ready to go. The same style lives on today.
