1972 MIAMI DOLPHINS ‘PERFECT SEASON’ 13”x19” COMMEMORATIVE POSTER

The 1972 Miami Dolphins are the only team in the history of the National Football League to complete a championship season undefeated. This year is the 50th Anniversary of their first Super Bowl victory following the 1972 season.

The Dolphins went 17-0, defeating Cleveland and Pittsburgh in the AFC playoffs and Washington in Super Bowl VII.  

Don Shula was the Dolphins’ coach. On the playing field, the team was led by quarterbacks Bob Griese and Earl Morrall, fullback Larry Csonka, center Jim Langer, guard Larry Little and wide receiver Paul Warfield. On defense, the leaders were safeties Jake Scott and Dick Anderson, defensive end Bill Stanfill and middle linebacker Nick Buoniconti. 

In 2022, it’ll be 50 years since their great feat. This poster commemorates their achievements in 1972.
