Char is a guitarist who has had a great influence on the history of Japanese rock and is still at the forefront of the scene. The latest signature model with the Mustang motif of Olympic White, the icon representing that career, has been decided to be released.
Since the Custom Shop Char Signature Mustang “Free Sprits” (2012), which is the revival of the US Mustang for the first time in 30 years, the Signature Mustang will be released in Japan. The concept for model development is "Mustang with Stratocaster functionality".
A newly developed synchronized tremolo bridge to match the Mustang body thickness, which is thinner than the Stratocaster. A unique model that enables Stratocaster arming has been realized while maintaining the playability and maneuverability peculiar to Mustang. In addition, a 3-Position Toggle switch is used to enable more intuitive pickup operation. The position of the control knob has also been adjusted so that you can operate the volume as if you were using a Stratocaster.
The Made in Japan Char Signature Mustang, which embodies the ideas that Char has warmed up over the years, has become a model with unique but rational specifications.
