I receive a number of requests asking if I can meet a deadlines for birthday presents etc. I will always do my best for you and am happy to work extra to make sure you get the items on time. This is important to me.

I have been making bespoke furniture for a number years now but have just started working with reclaimed timbers. Reclaimed wood is under rated material and may not look pretty on first sight but with the correct care and preparation, beautiful furniture pieces can be created. I love the idea of wood recycling and giving it another lease of life.

I source a variety of timber including Scaffold boards, Pallets and second hand material from reclamation yards. I work hard to keep the character of the wood. I don’t use plain, new wood as I find it unappealing and lacking character.

More work goes into reclaimed timber than new wood, which I think is reflected in the quality of the items I produce.

I try and replicate the pictures are closely as possible but there will always be slight variations due to the colours and textures in the material. There may be slight wood splits, knocks and knots. I check all the deficiencies to make sure the wood structure is not compromised but keep the irregularities in as far as possible as it adds to the character of the item.

All my items come without a finish. This is because customers can apply their own finish to their requirements, whether that be paint, oils or left natural. I am happy to advise on the finish you may be looking for.
