All sanding blocks are proper width to allow 9" x 11" sheets cut in half to 5 1/2" x 9" to wrap around block without waste.

Kit includes;

1.   Pad No. 1  starts out with our amazing Ensolite gray rubber pad material.  This is the same material most of our Curve-Flex Products are made of.  We slit the gray material down to 1/2" thick, then bond a Black Medium-Hard quality closed cell rubber pad that is 1/4" thick.  Select either the gray or the black side for extreme control and aggressive contouring.  Use when roughing out a panel and when sanding door and hood panels for ultimate flat results!!!

2.   Pad No. 2 also starts out with our amazing Ensolite gray rubber pad material.   We use a 1/2" thick gray material bonded to a Black Medium-Soft quality closed cell rubber pad that is 3/8" thick.

All materials are ultra high quality MADE IN THE USA RUBBER BLENDS!!!  (not made of cheap EVA rubber)

Note, the gray pad can also be used with 2 3/4" wide PSA, pressure sensitive adhesive backing sandpaper.  It is great when roughing out the contours.  It is stiff enough to help produce a uniform curved surface, bringing down the high spots for a uniform contour.  Next use the medium density black pad with 220 or 400 grit wet dry sandpaper.  Use the black Finish Sanding Blending Pad to remove the edges commonly left when paint is ground away down to base metal then primed.

Many companies have continued to use cheaper and cheaper blends of rubber, then made the switch to foamed plastic blends that try to fool the customer into thinking they are still buying rubber.  Don't be fooled...if it is made in China you can't be sure it is what you want.  All our sanding pads are made from true closed cell vulcanized and cured rubber sheet.  Buy products made from "China Rubber" and you are often getting a cheap replacement.  When you buy from us you are buying top quality material.  We make money the old fashioned way by selling a quality product at a fair price!!!

Not made of EVA rubber like Durablock,  Our materials are much more expensive than EVA!  If you want to buy a cheap pair of shoes...you can find them with EVA soles.
