Takes a minute to load the DVD up initially, but then skips through scenes fine. May benefit from a cleaning with a laser cleaner. Also, some stick'em on the top and side of unit, as well as on the remote. Composite connections work fine, but the HDMI shows a "Mode Not Supported" on my older 720p 32" TVs, and just gives a pink screen on my newer, 4K 65" TV.
