Acacia jibberdingensis Seed
WILLOW-LEAFED WATTLE - AUSTRALIAN NATIVE SHRUB
40 Seeds
An erect, slender branching shrub growing to 2-4m. It bears long, narrow phyllodes to 20cm and bright yellow cylindrical perfumed flowers.
It is native to an area in the Mid West, Wheatbelt and Goldfields regions of Western Australia. A hardy plant that prefers well draining soil, in arid areas it has been seen to form a dense shrub spanning 5m.
Germination Tips: To increase the germination rate, the seed should be treated first. It can be soaked in hot water or the seed can be nicked or scarred so that water will penetrate the seed's hard coating and induce germination. Use a sandy free draining soil mix and place in a warm area.
