Acacia multispicata Seed
SPIKED WATTLE - AUSTRALIAN NATIVE SHRUB
40 Seeds
This shrub is native to Australia. It is naturally found in the Wheatbelt, Great Southern and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia.
The low spreading to erect multi-branched shrub typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 2.5m. It flowers from March to October producing a showy effect of a mass of yellow flowers. The plant prefers sandy soils.
Common names: A Dalwallinu Wattle
Germination Tips: To increase the germination rate, the seed should be treated first. It can be soaked in hot water or the seed can be nicked or scarred so that water will penetrate the seed's hard coating and induce germination. Use a sandy free draining soil mix and place in a warm area.
