Photograph Notes: Also called St Finian's Church and MacCarth's Tower. This is a 12th century Romanesque church consisting of a Chancel Arch and tower that is 56 feet high. The nave is almost totally ruinedbut the chancel is sound and decoratively preserved. The tower is 15 feet in diameter at its base and thought to serve as a bell tower. There is little doubt that an earlier church occupied this site as of 610.
