Castaner X Paul Smith - United by a love of colour and artisanal craftsmanship, Spanish footwear label Castañer and Paul Smith collaborate to create these tan Paul espradrilles. They're crafted from supple suede with signature Artist stripes at the pull tab, embroidered heel and lining, then set on a woven jute midsole and anti-slip rubber sole.Crafted in Spain in collaboration with master footwear atelier Castañer, these navy suede loafer-style espadrilles feature a 100% natural jute plaited footbed which is vulcanised onto a rubber sole for durability.

A collaboration for SS21 has come in the form of bright coloured espadrilles and specialist, traditional craftsmanship with the iconic Castañer. Working closely with Castañer from a design perspective Paul Smith has been encapsulated not only in the patterns and colours chosen but through recognisable detailing across all styles, signature soles, colour pop socks and Paul’s infamous doodle drawings.

Secure shopping One of my favorite “vintage discoveries” is when I find a piece of DEADSTOCK VINTAGE.It’s like finding a diamond amongst the jewels: I’m already so satisfied with the vintage finds I’m discovering, but then I see a shimmer that truly makes my heart beat faster — a piece of vintage with the original tags.Deadstock vintage are called as such because they have “passed away” [i.e. died] from the original stock where they previously existed [i.e. lived] in a store. The piece of vintage clothing was never sold from that store for whatever reason — perhaps it was a piece of sale clothing that was unbought, or the store/boutique/department store chain fell bankrupt and its remaining inventory found its way to a thrift store or the hands of a vintage boutique owner.
