New CD, Polish release
A pop-rock vocal-instrumental band, formed on the initiative of record producers Sławomir Wesołowski and Mariusz Zabrodzki in August 1984 in Warsaw. Under the name Papa Doc, soon changed to Papa Dance, it was initially only a studio group consisting of: Marek Karczmarek - voc, kbrd, Tadeusz Łyskawa - dr, Grzegorz Wawrzyszak - voc, kbrd. The popularity it gained after the premiere of the first radio recording and the music video W 40 dni around the world made the creators of the band realize that in this line-up he will not be able to perform live on stage. After the qualifying rounds and auditions at the Park student club in Warsaw, Konstanty Joriadis - kbrd joined the team. At KFPP Opole '85 he performed as a quintet with Krzysztof Kasprzyk - voc, kbrd.

In 1985, he recorded his first LP, which sold over fifty thousand copies. After the personnel changes in 1986, the team split. Papa Dance became a duo Paweł Stasiak - voc, K. Joriadis - kbrd. The other musicians formed the band Ex-Dance. New musicians soon joined Papa Dance. Since then, he has performed and recorded in the following line-up: Konstanty Dinos - voc, Waldemar Kuleczka - g, T. Łyskawa - dr, P. Stasiak - voc, Jacek Szewczyk - g, Andrzej Zieliński - bg. In the competition Golden Ten in Opole '86 he took third place. The song Ocean of Memories was awarded the title of the hit of the year 1986. In 1987, he took first place in a concert from Opole to Opole. He also won many national radio, television and press polls. At KFPP Opole '88, the song Nasz Disneyland won the first place in the audience poll for the most popular song of the festival. He staged the Papa Dance TV recital (dir. K. Bukowski).

His career is devoted to the slogan on TV Lexicon of Polish Popular Music, episode 83 (dir. R. Wolański). In 1989 he sang in the USSR, at the FPR in Zielona Góra and at the festival in Rostock (East Germany). He also performed at the IMF in Sopot and the Polish diaspora festival in Chicago. At the beginning of 1990, he went to concerts in the USA and continued his stage activity there. There he released the first and, as it turned out later, the only American album. Her repertoire included songs from previous albums and one new Fires in Your Eyes (music by A. Patoh, words by J. Borys). It broke up in December 1990. He has given nearly six hundred concerts in Poland and abroad. His records and cassettes have sold over half a million copies. In August 2002, he resumed his activity in the quartet (T. Łyskawa, P. Stasiak, J. Szewczyk, A. Zieliński) and recorded a single with the song Everything will happen on the beach (mus. M. Zabrodzki, T. Łyskawa, words: J. Onufrowicz). In 2003, his former guitarist W. Kuleczka joined the band, and he participated in the recording of another single with the song Normal history (music by T. Łyskawa, M. Zabrodzki, words by M. Fanga).
