New Book , Polish release

He dreamed of becoming a footballer, but instead of scoring goals for the national team, he only managed to make his B-class debut years later. His father wanted to make him a cyclist, but he saw mountain riding as a chore. So instead of two wheels, he chose one large wheel - that is, located in an athletics stadium.

Whatever he did, the world would sooner or later hear about him. Because Paweł Fajdek’s life was full of adventures from the beginning: he fell asleep for competitions to win them with a single throw, lost a gold medal in a taxi, almost killed his coach with a hammer, and a fight in which he saved an attacked friend could end his career.

The three-time world champion talks about all this in a book full of anecdotes and humors. As he announces, there will still be time for his autobiography, so now it provides great entertainment, revealing a bit behind the scenes from behind the athletics curtain. Sit back and fasten your belts. This 'Firecracker' will crush you!

"Well written and well twisted book that reads in one breath. Paweł Fajdek blows up our ideas of what is happening behind the scenes of his starts. "Firecracker" is his "Fire and Sword", because like Sienkiewicz, he announces the writing of a trilogy. I look forward to the rest and wish Paul Olympic gold. In third attempt of course."
Przemysław Babiarz, TVP Sport

"Paul's book is a great show of what real life of an athlete looks like from behind the scenes: constant pursuit of a goal, successes, failures... There is no shortage of interesting anecdotes in 'Firecracker', making the whole thing very enjoyable to read. I recommend especially to every young man!"
Marcin Gortat

"Not every great sports master has to look and behave like a preschool reading character. Explore the story of Paweł Fajdek - a hammer who breaks and smashes the stereotype of an athlete like his rivals in a wheel."
Tomasz Majewski
