Here we have the FREEFALL Spring Assisted “flipper” knife by Kershaw (model: 3840). Tanto style blade is cut from 8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel with a stonewash finish. Handle is steel frame with spacer and K-textured glass filled nylon handle grips and has large Lanyard Slot. The Freefall is equipped with Kershaw’s SPEEDSAFE spring assist opening technology. Has the extended tang “Finger-Flipper” opening mechanism. Blade locks in the fully open position, uses a liner-lock release to close the blade. Pocket clip is set for right-handed tip up carry, but can be moved for left-handed pocket carry. Nice sturdy knife has zero blade-play and is made with the quality you can expect from Kershaw Knives.
