Listed 20th C. French Artist Claude Gaignoux (1924-2005) Signed, on lower right, this Boat / Pier Waterscape. It is an Original Oil on a Masonite board from the Mid 20th C. (1950's - '70's). Dark grey clouds hover over a long, wooden pier with a tall amusement ride at the end of the pier, which is surrounded by moored boats of all sizes. Sandbars are visible in the foreground as the water gets shallower, and approaches the shore. Beautifully composed and soothing color palette used. Quality artistry paired with a Fine framing presentation. 

3 3/4" Wide, Closed or Finished Corner, Gold Leaf, Reverse frame with a ribbed flat panel and a Linen liner (w/ gold lip) is included complimentary in this listing.  

Canvas measures 10 3/4 X 16 1/4 and is in Very Good condition.

Outside measure of the frame is 17 1/4 X 23 and is in Good to Very Good condition.
