Lovely vintage Lithophane tea trio produced circa late 1950s in Japan by the producer COMET. Tea trio consists of three items which are the tea cup, tea cup saucer and side plate. All of which depicts the same pattern in a silver gilt. The tea cup has a lithophane Geisha design to the bottom of the cup, this can be seen by holding the item up to the light.
Dimensions:
Tea cup measures approximately 11.5cm wide (to the outside edge of the handle) and approximately 5.5cm tall (its a good size for a nice cup of tea).
The saucer measures approximately 13.7cm in diameter.
The side plate measures approximately 18.5 cm in diameter.
