The Fiji 5 Dollar banknote from the 1998 series depicts a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the front design. A Bunedamu bird perched on a branch, a domodomo as registration device, a silver metallic ornament, and the countrys national emblem are also added on the obverse side. Printed on the reverse is the Nadi International Airport with baggage carts and other maintenance vehicles servicing four passenger planes in the center and the catamaran ferry, domodomo, and flowers on the lower right. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a Fijian head watermark and a Windowed security thread, to enhance its security features.
