For sale is one of the few cross continental Steinways, the action of this was made in Germany while the case and assembly were done in New York by Steinway and Sons, before the company got bought out. 

In the photo section is an appraisal done in 2015 by Dean Shank, then head of piano technology at Rice U.

Every professional that has played this piano says it has the most phenomenal bass they have ever heard.

When it comes time to tune it, it takes an average of 45 minutes forthe tuner to do the work. However they end up staying for several more hours just to play this piano.

We are selling this beloved instrument because old age, arthritis and hand injuries prevent us from playing it any more. We want this to go to someone who can appreciate it as much as we have, so if the action quality and sound matter to you please contact us.
