Fabul0us Dorothy Thorpe oval tray in the "Atomic Splash" pattern produced in the 1950s.  The crystal tray is pebbled on the underside and has sterling silver decoration in a splash pattern on the top.  

It seems that no occasion was ever special enough for the previous owner to break down and use it, because it still has its original paper and foil labels, both with the Dorothy Thorpe label, affixed to the top.  

Condition:  appears unused.  The silver would benefit from a light polishing.

Dimensions:  13"L x 9 3/4"W x 2 1/2"H.
