"Disco Polo" is a crazy vaudeville, thriller, romance and road movie, all served with lightness and in a haze of absurdity.
In the roles of emerging disco stars: Dawid Ogrodnik, Piotr Głowacki, Joanna Kulig and Aleksandra Hamkało - one of the most recognized artists of the young generation, accompanied by outstanding actors, including: Tomasz Kot, Iwona Bielska, Jacek Koman, Janusz Chabior, Juliusz Chrząstowski , Rafał Maćkowiak and Mariusz Drężek.

And on the CD, the greatest disco polo hits, in new arrangements, were developed especially for the film. The actors sang them as a film group called LASER (Dawid Ogrodnik and Piotr Głowacki). The role of the leader of the Atomic band was played by Rafał Maćkowiak, and Joanna Kulig sang as a diva of Gensonin's disco polo music.

The soundtrack to the film includes 15 songs - real evergreens of the disco polo genre. Woven into the plot of the film, they constitute a surprising, often perverse commentary on the events taking place on the screen.
