Diese 100 Euro Goldmünze hat Slowenien anlässlich des 30. Jubiläums der Staatsgründung der Republik Sloweniens ausgegeben. Die Münze zeigt die Silhouette des Berges Triglav, welcher als zentrales Symbol des slowenischen Staates dient. Die Längsgravur in mehreren Ebenen über die gesamte Münzfläche stellt eine bleibende Erinnerung an die historische Grundlage der Ereignisse rund um die Unabhängigkeit Sloweniens dar. Die Aufschriften "REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJA" und "30 LET" sind ebenfalls im Münzdesign enthalten. Auf der Wertseite sind der Nennwert "100 EURO", das Ausgabejahr "2021" und die Aufschrift "SLOVENIJA" zu sehen. Nachdem Slowenien im Zweiten Weltkrieg unter deutscher und italienischer Besatzung gestanden hatte, gehörte es ab 1945 wieder zu Jugoslawien. Am 25. Juni 1991 löste sich Slowenien aus dem Staatsverband Jugoslawien und erklärte seine politische Unabhängigkeit, welche bis Ende Januar 1992 von der Mehrheit der internationalen Staatengemeinschaft anerkannt wurde. Slovenia has issued this 100 euro gold coin on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Slovenia. The coin features the silhouette of Mount Triglav, which serves as the central symbol of the Slovenian state. The longitudinal engraving over the entire surface of the coin represents a lasting reminder of the historical basis of the events surrounding Slovenia's independence. The inscriptions "REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJA" and "30 LET" are also included in the coin design. The reverse features the denomination "100 EURO", the year of issue "2021" and the inscription "SLOVENIJA". After Slovenia had been under German and Italian occupation during World War II, it became part of Yugoslavia again in 1945. On June 25th, 1991, Slovenia broke away from Yugoslavia and declared its political independence, which was recognized by the majority of the international community by the end of January 1992.
