1864 and includes seven fold-out maps, including the large-format Engineers
Map of the State of New York Showing Its Division into Agricultural
Groups and the Routes of Commercial Trafic...Comstock & Cassidy

- This map measures a generous 62 x 76.5 cm [24½" x 30"]
and has a decorative border and a handsome vignette of
a steam train.
- The state's agricultural groups are delineated in
original hand color, and a panel at the upper left gives the lengths,
in miles, of railroads then operating in the state.
- The other six maps give closer looks at each of the
agricultural groups.
- The book itself measures 9½" x 6½" and is 2½"
thick, with 834 pages, plus more than a dozen other illustrations and
figures, in
addition to the maps.
- Condition: The book is complete and intact, with
minor wear to the cover boards
and spine. The contents are tight and clean, complete and in sound
condition, with some minor water stains in the lower margins, wrinkles,
and fold breaks on some of the maps.
The large state map is
in fine shape, bright and crisp, with folds, as issued. Please see the
