- The image area measures 47
x 33 cm [18½" x 13"],
and details included railways, roads, steamship routes, submarine
telegraph lines,
lighthouses, forts, battlefields, cities, towns, and natural features.
- There are five insets: Calcutta, Madras and
suburbs, Point de Galle.
Bombay and vicinity, and Upper Burma, with part of China.
- Among the other named places and features are Delhi,
Hyderabad, Karachi, Bangalore, Rangoon, Benares, Mouths of the Ganges,
Himalaya Mountains, Nepal,
Bhutan, Mysore, Kandy, and Kashmir.
- The map was issued in Library Atlas
of Modern Geography, published by D. Appleton &
Company, New York. It is dated 1891 in the lower margin.

Condition: It is in excellent condition,
bright and clean,
with a horizontal center fold, as issued, and no
marks,
rips, or tears.
It is blank on the back, with no printing on the reverse side.
