I searched and searched for any history/information on this Illustrator. Hopefully you will have better luck. This was found at an estate auction with other collectible Comic(s) Illustrations. Could this be British??

It was professionally framed with Acid Free Matting and backing.

Black painted wooden Frame does have some dings and bangs from Age/Travel. Could easily be touched up.
