This stone is called Snake Skin Agate, snake skin jasper. But this is not actually agate or jasper. This is a fossil! This “snake skin agate” is actually a fossilized pharyngeal tooth plate of a Wrasse fish. Found in Indonesia and is in very short supply. The teeth are located in the back of the fishes throat, used to grind up mollusks that the ancient fish fed on. Millions of years old fish mouth fossil. Very Rare!

I set this rarity in a solid 925 Hand textured ring with copper wire accents.
