Vintage Japanese Carved Wood Mask Fukurokuju God Wealth Happiness Longevity Luck.

Description: Vintage Japanese mask. This is an intricately hand carved wooden mask representing Fukurokuju, one of the Seven Lucky Gods. Fukurokuju is the god of wealth, happiness, and longevity. The mask has a tall forehead, large ears, and a full beard. An organic material, maybe straw, is used to hang the mask on a wall. Mask is signed on the inside.

Measurements: Approximately 5.75 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. Mask extends off wall approximately 2 inches.

Condition: Good vintage condition. There is wear to the mask from age and typical use. Some dings to the wood. A couple spots where there appears to be residue from an indeterminate material. Damage to the eyelid on the left eye - left as you are looking at the mask. The straw is breaking down and shedding. See photos for a representation of condition
