Zum Verkauf steht ein äußerst seltener Kupferstich von oder bei Joannes Galle. Nicht in der Fachliteratur nachweisbar. Guter Druck auf Bütten, mit dem Titel und dem Namenszug von Galle in der Platte.

Ausdrucksstarke Darstellung der Geißelung Christi aus der Passion.

Joannes Galle (1600-1672) war ein flämischer Graphiker und Graphikhändler, Sohn von Theodor Galle.

Plattengröße: ca. 11,5 x 7 cm / Blatt: ca. 19 x 14 cm

Zustand:
- weißer Rand minimal fleckig, unten rechts kleine Nummer in der Platte ausgekratzt
- sonst sehr gut erhalten

Impressive depiction of the Flagellation from the Passion of Christ.

Joannes Galle (1600-1620) was Flemish printmaker and print seller, son of Theodor.

Leaf size: c. 19 x 14 cm / Plate size: c. 11.5 x 7 cm

Condition:
- white margin with minimal stains
- otherwise very well-preserved
