Photograph Notes: The track serving the main platform ends at the buffer stop. Those trains to Tralee which call at Killarney are involved in a reversing process at this station. The section to Tralee had not been built at the time Killarney Station opened. If it had, then probably Killarney Station would have been designed so that this cumbersome process was not necessary. Although almost all of the station is in the adjoining OSI square V9790, this short length of track isn't. See also:- [[5906082]].
