The grease filter requires regular maintenance in order to serve you well. Remove the filter from the hood body, place it in the dishwasher and run a program with a lower temperature (avoid using harsh detergents). If you do not have access to a dishwasher, soak the filter in lukewarm water and then clean it with a brush. If you are unable to extract the steam from the kitchen, use the recirculation function. In this case, it is necessary to add a carbon filter (not included) behind the grease filter which absorbs odors. The air is purified and returned to the room. The carbon filter should be replaced regularly, depending on how often the hood is used.
