You can choose any character, magic item, trap, vehicle, crystal and variant of those you like.

Description

These coins have been individually designed and handcrafted. The backside informs about the game series and shows the individual elements and battle classes (only for Imaginators).

The Skylanders game series supports the scanning functionality via portals on all platforms, incl. Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, 3DS and Switch.

Story

The story of Skylanders Imaginators takes place long ago when the Ancients used a mysterious power known as Mind Magic to create everything in Skylands. With it, they conjured into existence anything that they could imagine. However, they soon learned that in the wrong hands, it could be very dangerous, and so they sealed it away so that it could never be misused. After discovering this ancient secret, the evil Portal Master Kaos has unleashed the power of Mind Magic into Skylands once again - and he is using it to create an unstoppable army of Doomlanders, the likes of which have never been seen! Now it's up to Portal Masters and, to help train them, the greatest mystic warriors of all time - the Senseis, to create Skylanders Imaginators from their own imagination to stop Kaos and his Doomlanders before it is too late.

Functionality

All character coins from older games work in newer games. Or to put it another way, newer games in the franchise are backwards compatible with all characters from previous games.

When the portal lights up it begins to scan, then when you put the character coin on the portal it scans it to read the info such as level, type, and overall appearance exactly the same way as with the Skylanders figures.

Please Note

• For the Skylander Swappers in Skylanders:Swap Force are two coins required per character (top & bottom).
• The traps from Skylanders:Trap Team function the same way as in SuperChargers during the raceway part of the game and give you 500 gold. They cannot be used in the Nintendo Switch version of Imaginators
• Characters not available (were exclusive to the Mobile game "Skylanders: Lost Islands") : Thumpback (Admiral) (S2), Hot Head (Obsidian) (S2).
• Character / items not available (never released): Buckshot (Heartbreaker) (S6), Earth Rune (S6), Fire Angel (S6), Light Angel (S6), Tech Pyramid (S6).
