This auction offers an antique and original 1899 Badger Brass Mfg. Company Model S Solar automobile / motorcycle / bicycle headlight lamp. Also marked Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA. Patented in 1896 in USA. Jewels are intact. The main lens hinge is intact. Made of nonferrous metal (not sure if it is plated brass). Measures about 6-1/2" tall x 3-1/2" wide. The main lens is 3-1/4" in diameter, and the small red and white jewels / crystals are 1-1/2 inches. Untested and uncleaned. Typical surface wear and discoloration from age and use.
