Please Note: The painting is in vintage condition, with a horizontal portion at the very bottom separating, wear marks, small wood pieces missing. The frame is in disrepair, with cracks and pieces missing, and rub marks on the edges and on the corners.
Despite this condition we have received an assessment that at auction it could attain $1500.

Up for auction here is Antique oil painting on wood panel by an Unknown artist, South Germany Marquetry, that copies the style of the early 18th Century, but believed to be created in the late 18th Century to early 19th Century. Through our research we have not yet found the title to this artwork. If you know of or find a title please let us know. This painting shows a hunting scene in the forest, a man on horseback with his spear ready, his dog nearby helping hunt and chase a pig/boar, with the main scene situated between two trees.
