Vintage 1950s South Africa Print Bold Textile Pan Prints 36x36” Mint Condition

Stored in a dresser drawer for 60+ years, this vividly illustrated textile was made by Pan Prints.

Depicts stereotypical illustrations of South Africa in the 1950s.

Possibly sold in port as a tourist item (note the cruise ship illustration in one corner), it would make an impactful wall hanging, in particular, framed with acid free paper to preserve its bold graphics, and displayed away from sunlight.

Item has never been used and is in mint condition. Appears to be a hardy cotton fabric with inked-on print.

Please note the round "Pan Prints" label on this textile which shows the Ancient Greek god Pan playing pan-pipes (flute).

Inquiries welcome.
