Vintage 1935 fold-out Socony-Vacuum Oil road map of New England, printed more than 87 years ago.

• The map opens to a generous 31" x 26" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.



• The coverage area includes Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.



• On the reverse side there are inset plans of Boston, New York City, and northern Maine with neigboring Canada.



• The map was distributed by the Standard Oil Division of the Socony-Vacuum Oil Company to promote its Mobilgas and Gargoyle Mobiloil. It is dated 1935 in the legend.
