Maxophone, realizzato dalla Produttori Associati (insieme a Duello Madre è stato uno dei pochi esperimenti di questa etichetta in campo rock) è un album meraviglioso, pieno di atmosfere da sogno ed elaborati arrangiamenti di fiati, con ottime parti vocali in stile Genesis. Il primo brano sull'LP, C'è un paese al mondo, uscì contemporaneamente anche su 45 giri, ma il gruppo non raggiunse il successo che avrebbe meritato con una migliore produzione ed una buona promozione da parte della casa discografica.Ora finalmente la ristampa rimasterizzata è disponibile in edizione papersleeve. Other influences may be PFM and Gentle Giant, tough Maxophone keep a very distinctive and unique sound.Surely this is a must-have and can  be easily considered as one of the ten best prog records ever coming out of Italy!!This remastered edition faithfully reproduces the sound of the original master tape, while the cover and artwork is the exact replica of the vinyl version of 1975.
