We are offering this Fabulous, Hand Carved and Painted African Tribal, Wall Hanging Mask/Decoration. It is an Original wooden mask, carved and painted or stained, from the late 20th C. The subject has an elongated, oval head with an exaggerated nose that curves into the mouth. The eyes are Cowrie (Cowry) shells, and a repeating triangular design surrounds the outer border. The same design is found on the back with a contrasting rounded design. Threaded, with a red bead at top, is a 'chain' of tan and brown beads, from which the mask/decoration can hang.

Mask measures approx. 7 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" across. and measures approx. 2" deep. 

Mask is in Good condition with minor signs of handling.
