The lens is from a medium format photographic enlarger, covers a frame of 6x6 cm.

 Initially, the Industar-58 3.5 / 75 lens was in a different frame and was installed on the Iskra and Iskra-2 rangefinder medium format cameras, which were produced at the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant from 1960 to 1963.

 Later it was processed by BelOMO for photographic enlargers, and placed in a different frame. The name remained the same Industar-58 3.5 / 75.

 Further, the lens was redesigned a little more and received the name Industar-58U 3.5 / 75, thereby emphasizing that it belongs to photographic magnifier lenses.
