A vintage gem - pre loved and has flaws but beautiful - please read under condition.

1940's 1950’s open bottom SPENCER girdle.

Peach herringbone striped cotton blend (no fabric content label) body with peach elastic inserts on front hips. Higher back. Boning throughout. Lace up front also has a hook & eye and zipper off center closure.

No size tag in my opinion best fit size Small, please go by detailed measurements below. Measurements taken when the girdle is fully laced up - if the laces are loosened there is room for a few inches bigger variation.

Waist: 26” +

Hips: 34” +

Along the very bottom: 36” +

13” long waist to hem in front and longer 18” on seat

Condition: pre-loved by the original owner. Some small alterations and repairs. Most wear is along the top edge with small darned areas and thinning spots. Elastic sections have lost its “oomph” Some very light age discoloration.

In my opinion still beautiful and structurally sound - all boning is intact - no rips or large stains, no funky smell. The original garters (though also lost some elasticity) are fully functional and are in great shape.

Could be great for a costume, display, study or to be worn. Sold AS IS - no returns.
