Hans Springinklee (* zwischen 1490 und 1495 in Nürnberg; † um 1540) war ein Nürnberger Maler und Graphiker, der für seine Holzschnitte bekannt ist. Er war Schüler und engster Mitarbeiter von Albrecht Dürer.

Zum Verkauf steht ein großer originaler Holzschnitt von Hans Springinklee. Prachtvolles Originalbeispiel für die Kunst des Holzschnitts im Zeitalter Dürers, von einem Dürer-Schüler und Mitarbeiter höchstselbst.

Die seltene Graphik mit stammt aus dem berühmten Zyklus "Kaiser Maximilians I. Triumph. Le triomphe de l'empereur Maximilien I". Die großartige Holzschnittfolge gibt den repräsentativen Triumphzug Kaiser Maximilians I. mit der Vermählung Maximilians I. mit Maria von Burgund als Höhepunkt in glorifizierender Weise wieder. Das große Unterfangen bedingte, daß an der Bearbeitung der 147 Stöcke die besten Künstler ihrer Zeit beschäftigt waren: Albrecht Altdorfer, Hans Burgkmair d. Ä., Leonhard Beck, Hans Schäufelein, Albrecht Dürer und Hans Springinklee.

Guter Abzug des 19.Jhd. vom originalen Holzstock des 16.Jhd, gedruckt auf Papier ohne Büttenstruktur, verso mit deutlichem Relief druckend.

Hans Springinklee (c.1490/c.1495 – c.1540) was a German artist from Nuremberg, best known for his woodcuts. He was a pupil and the closest assistant of Albrecht Dürer.

For sale is a large original woodcut by Hans Springinklee. Splendid original example for the art of woodcut prints in the time of Dürer, here from a Dürer pupil and closest Dürer assistant.

The rare print comes out of the famous work "Kaiser Maximilians I. Triumph. Le triomphe de l'empereur Maximilien I", a monumental 16th-century series of woodcut prints, commissioned by the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I. to illustrate the glory of his reign. The series of 147 woodcut was carried out by the best artists of the time: Albrecht Altdorfer, Hans Burgkmair d. Ä., Leonhard Beck, Hans Schäufelein, Albrecht Dürer and Hans Springinklee.

Good impression of the 19th century from the original 16th century woodblock, printed on wove paper with the woodcut lines leaving a distinct relief at the backside.
