New CD, Polish release

Tadeusz Nalepa, the father of Polish blues and the founder of the legendary band Breakout, flirted with illustrative music only a few times during his long career. While creating for the film ... he was still himself. The moving soundtracks to the films "Śmierć Dziecioroba" and "Justyna", full of blues longing, confirm this in their entirety.

"Justyna" is a television film from 1979 - a psychological study of a woman repressed in everyday life by an overbearing husband. The main character's melancholy is accompanied by a sobbing, beautiful guitar by Tadeusz Nalepa, supported by a solid rhythm section and a lush-sounding Hammond organ. "Śmierć Dziecioroba", made over a decade later, is a bit lighter music, using in arrangements, among others, accordion and harmonica. Both tracks are music deeply rooted in the blues tradition, full of brilliant solos and subtle mood creation. A special thing that will appeal to both Tadeusz Nalepa's supporters and film music lovers.

All material has been remastered from the original tapes. Apart from the text on Nalepa's music, the booklet also includes stills from the film and the artist's photos by Mirosław R. Makowski.
