Description: Species like canna indica ‘Rose Floribunda‘ is a tall size foliage cultivar newly developed at Zingiplants Gardens nursery. Gorgeous large structured canna that can grow to 8 feet. Canna ‘Rose Floribunda‘ offers smaller open deep rose blooms held high above banana-like foliage. Large green oval shaped leaves with white midribs. Spikes of flowers are erect and open, self-colored deep rose-red, fully self-cleaning. Fertile both ways, self-pollinating and true to type. Rhizomes are thick, up to 2 inches in diameter, colored white and purple, tilling is average. Excellent for screening or specimen plant. Canna ‘Rose Floribunda‘ is a species like canna and as such is one of the canna varieties easily grown from seed. From your initial purchase, you should be self sufficient in seeds after one season. Canna ‘Rose Floribunda‘ is a true hummingbird magnet. Attracts more hummingbirds than any other canna we grow (hummingbirds were literally fighting over these flowers!). Pictures are of actual plants grown in my garden the rhizomes/seeds eventually will grow into.
