Strictly speaking, projection a big screen does not mean anything as it is very easy, but you never feel comfortable if it produces poor picture quality like HD 1082 . The bigger the screen, the worse the picture quality. That is the main reason to have a real high resolution surface for a big screen.

There are plenty imported ambient light grey surfaces on the market, and very cheap as well, besides they are not sharp enough for 4K projection, they have another problem that is the colour is incorrect,end up that the white is yellowish,  all the colours are flat, fading and liveless. So, you are better thoroughly to test it before you buy it. Don’t buy it without actually see it. Besides high resolution picture, the contrast needs to be widest and the colours needs to be correctly, it means that the white colour is like snow, not like yellowish, the black is dark black, not like dark grey, the overall colour is vivid.

It is a common practice that from the big name like Sony to the unknown name manufacturer over state and over exaggerated their products. The only solution for not been fooled Is believing your eyes rather than what they described.

The most important factors that you need to know when buying a projector screen:

First: It must be a textureless surface.

Second: As the projector designs for light reflective, so the quality of surface directively affects the picture quality. Same as the quality of the driver affects the quality of the sound in Hifi system. Then how and where to make the surface is very crucial. It is foolish to believe that the Asian surface has the same quality as the European surface. But everybody knows the European speaker driver has much better quality. It is the same in the projector surface industry.

Regarding internet screen selling, there are many screens saying 4K quality, but you can not find any display in anyplace, anywhere . Currently all showrooms in Australia only display either Australia made or US-import screens. Without actual display, they would never tell you the whole or true story, but only exaggerated lies. You would get burned buying the screens based on the internet specifications or reviews without seeing it.
