This is the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu Karuta.

There are 100 wooden cards and 100 paper cards.

These are called "Shimo no ku karuta," which were used mainly in Hokkaido, Japan. This is a very valuable item.

The box, paper cards, and wooden cards are all deteriorating with age.

Some of the wooden cards have deteriorated as shown in the images.
