This is an original drawing titled GENERAL USE SHACKLE TYPE A - removed from a large Harland & Wolff ledger dated from the 1930's (Harland & Wolff were the Belfast shipbuilders who built the White Star Line Ships, including the famous Titanic )

The page measures approx 10" wide x 16" long (25cm x 41cm)

The ledger has an A-Z index at the front, listing various tools and other metal components which Harland & Wolff used in their ship-building business - I have enclosed a photo of the ledger and its index showing the drawing part listed with the relevant page number of the drawing offered for sale (This drawing is page no.3 under S list )

The drawings from the ledger come in varying degrees of condition - please study the photographs of the drawing offered to establish your view of its condition - there may be page discolouration, grubby marks, water staining etc.
The top edge of the page is ragged where it had once been taped over the perforated edge (to prevent it becoming dislodged from the ledger) - please see photos

Please note this sale is just for the single page drawing shown on the first 3 photographs and not the whole ledger book; the photos of the ledger/index are there only to show the origin of the drawing and are not part of the sale

This is a genuine piece of Belfast shipbuilding history and would be a fine present to anyone interested in Harland & Wolff/Titanic memorabilia - perhaps have it framed and give to someone to hang in their man/woman cave?

The item will be despatched carefully rolled and packaged in a protective cardboard tube

Please check my Ebay shop for other vintage Harland & Wolff drawings.

Many thanks for looking and happy bidding!
