The Cambodia 500 Riels issued in 1998 with a pick number P-43b.2 comes in red and purple color combinations. The obverse side of this note in uncirculated condition depicts the Angkor Wat on the right and the Coat of Arms of Cambodia on the upper left. The reverse is a rice paddy scenery dotted with palm trees and with two tractors and workers. A tree and an animal carving are also visible. The 133 x 62 mm banknote is made of paper and carries a lotus flower pattern watermark.
