This vintage rare find dates from the 19th century. It is an exceptional hand painted egg shape Sevres porcelain ornament, beautifully detailed with vivid, rich coloration. This ornament showcases a panel with three young, well dressed women preparing for a festive occasion by bedazzling themselves with jewels from a casket. The painting is well organized with meticulous details & the positioning of its subjects. The back of the hanging ornament is decorated with a hand painted motif of golden scrolls.
