This estate sale item was from the estate of a very well known equine artist and author who likely traded a signed print or watercolor for this sculpture one of her fellows at one of the many western art shows she frequented in her 60+ year career. It is made of black painted steel or iron and is very strong. You will need to use a tool to bend it. The horse itself is made from thinner metal but is welded very securely.
