Certificate # 501 Limited Edition Collectors Series w/certificate WWII Winter
CONDITION: Pre-owned. Opened box. Mint Condition. Box shows minor shelf/storage wear. The plastic cover over the plane is missing. The diorama has never been removed from the box. Please see top 3 photos for exact pics of this model. Model has been stored in the original packing with the exception of missing a small piece of plastic film that was noted in other models to lie over the plane.

This highly detailed strikingly beautiful diecast biplane is set on a winter WWII diorama in Lake Kemi Finland, Jan 12th 1940. Please see photos for the detail of this unusual plane.
Of interest is the history of this British built plane and the coloring. Silver paint was over sprayed on its olive green upper surfaces as disruptive camouflage, as well as Finnish markings.
The detail along with the biplane style, skis, structural bracing wires, and more make this plane an especially attractive model.
This Corgi model is the most unique of all WWII models.

This plane is part of an extensive collection of WWII airplanes, figures, and books, as well US CIVIL WAR collectibles. They were collected over decades by a parent who was an 82nd Airborne Ranger. He was an avid collector, as well as a historian. Models have been stored in their original boxes (unless noted otherwise) and in a smoke free environment.
